Important Everglades Airboat Safari Tour Information
What We Provide:
*A cooler full of ice water is provided for you complimentary. Feel free to bring any food & beverages of your choice with you.
What to Wear:
*On your Everglades Tour, you will not be getting wet or sandy. Please feel free to wear your preferred clothing but do keep in mind to wear something light, as we are in Florida and the weather can get a little hot. Footwear can be flip flops or sneakers- which ever you prefer. During the breezier months, please bring a heavier coverup or clothing, if preferred.
What Your Tour Includes:
*Complimentary pictures and videos will be sent to you after your tour with us. We have waterproof & floatable cameras and will make sure to get great photos & videos of your time with us. Feel free to take your own photos & videos, but please remember that smart phones become dumb phones really quick when they get wet.
*A complimentary 35 to 40 minute educational ride in the luxury of our brand new, customized, 11 passenger, deluxe safari cruiser van. Your tour guide will be explaining to you about the many amazing qualities and features that make the Everglades such an incredible place to visit, and one of the rarest eco systems anywhere in the world. They will also be entertaining you with their vast knowledge of the local, past and present Indian tribes and settlers, that called this area home. Educate you about the importance of the Everglades Ecosystem to our environment and everyday life in SW Florida, as well as, discussing the animals, marine life, bird life and wildlife that you will be viewing throughout your day with us.
*35-40 minute airboat ride through the river of grass
*feed amazing tarpon and other fish at one of the rarest marine habitats in the world
*A trip to the Animal Sanctuary
*“Gator Time” a Q&A session as your guide takes photos of you holding, hugging, and kissing a live alligator!
Site & Tour Information:
*There is an Animal Sanctuary on site. This is not a zoo. It is a relocation & rescue sanctuary, mostly due to modern day development.
*There are restrooms available at our airboat launch site to all tour guests.
*During your airboat experience you will notice a sign that says "Airboat captains work for gratuities", you will notice a similar sign at the animal sanctuary during your Alligator education and photos. DO NOT TIP either of these team members, as their gratuity is already included in your package, and your eco-entertainer will tip them generously on your behalf.
At the end of your tour, please feel free to tip your Dreamlander Tours' van driver/eco-entertainer appropriately.
